Research Associate, Cancer Diagnostics Development

Work in a cross-functional team that supports clinical trials testing new targeted anti-cancer drugs, by developing tailored companion diagnostic assays. The DAKO brand within Agilent Technologies is one of the leaders in the field of companion diagnostics, partnering with various pharmaceutical companies, in order to bring their precision medicine drugs to market. We are looking for a talented and dedicated intermediate level biologist/biochemist to join the Companion Diagnostics Group in our Research and Development Department. You will work closely with experts in clinical science, regulatory affairs, immunoproduction and quality assurance to develop accurate, robust and precise assays. Your challenge will be to create value for Agilent through excellent job performance and innovative ideas that either create new businesses or enhance existing ones.

The ideal candidate is interested in
* Applying systems to carry out and develop immunohistochemistry assays, in situ hybridization assays.
* Define and design under minimal supervision the optimal development path for each product within our workflow and adhering to our quality management system framework.
* Working with internal and external collaborators to employ Agilent's automated staining and labeling solutions for cancer diagnostics.
* Execute all aspects of experiments including planning, execution, analysis and reporting.
* Ensuring success through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
