About the Job

Business Unit:

High performing sales manager responsible for executing a consistent OneSpotlight strategy to maximize Interactive revenue across digital and other advanced advertising platforms across one or more DMAs. Laser focused on tactical execution and sales activity to accelerate a market's Interactive revenue under the guidance of Regional Interactive Lead and in partnership with VP/GM and DOSs in their market.

Core Responsibilities

- Expert trainer and coach who builds multi-screen proficiency and Interactive knowledge among traditional sellers and leaders to accelerate our multi-screen efforts.

- Active sales leader who drives revenue in partnership with Local and Regional sales leaders on key sales calls to direct clients and agencies.

- Delivers OneSpotlight approved training at the market level on the competitive landscape, our products and how to position them to drive revenue.

- Executes sales tactics, deploys new capabilities and utilizes consistent sales strategy and positioning in line with Corporate Interactive strategy and in OneSpotlight alignment.

- Executes sales pilots of product rollouts as assigned by RIL and defined by the Corporate Interactive team. Tracks results and provides regular feedback to Corporate Interactive team.

- Manages a team of Interactive Specialists across the Market, setting sales activity expectations, tracking performance and managing accountability.

- Budget responsibility of approximately $3M to $7M+ in Interactive revenue across a Market or set of Markets.

- Partners with DOSs and LSMs to track multi-screen performance and hold teams and individuals accountable to expectations. Provides one on one coaching as needed with lagging performers.

- Develops local sales packages and enforces localized pricing within approved parameters on rate cards.

- Partners with assigned AEs and sales managers to personally develop relationships with key agencies and major clients across the Market. Helps customize cross-media solutions within Corporate Interactive parameters to win new business and increase our share with major accounts.

- Digital expert who can articulate how Spotlight Interactive solutions meet advertiser needs.

- Excellent communicator with the ability to present in person and convey our value proposition.

- People management skills including the ability to recruit, hire and develop Interactive Media Specialists.

- Ability to enforce standards and alignment to OneSpotlight approach.

- Consistent exercise of excellent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.


- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

- 3-5 years+ of highly relevant digital and sales management experience
