This position is within Reynolds American Services Company—a subsidiary that provides support services, including compliance, HR, law, finance, information management, and more to all of the subsidiaries of RAI.
The Senior Manager QA Audits is responsible for managing supplier audit activities to ensure their compliance with RAI Operating Company requirements and applicable regulatory obligations.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and develop direct reports in a high performance culture via goal setting, coaching, performance evaluation, succession planning, and development plans
Provide leadership for the Procurement management processes related to direct material suppliers and contract manufacturers
Serve as advisor on documented supplier management processes: supplier requirements, reviews, audits, and creation of mutually agreed upon specifications. Provide oversight to ensure supplier management activities are conducted timely
Provide support for identification and leadership of Continuous Improvement activities
Ensure supplier adherence to FDA, GMP, and HACCP plans as they relate to scheduled activities
Support Product Security and Tamper Prevention activities with site assessments and ensuring proper supplier controls are implemented and maintained
Promote consistency through organizing and conducting supplier audits
Provide leadership in developing documentation for the RAI OpCos for various GMP standards
Support Indirect Procurement and related processes to be compliant and drive continuous improvement
Manages contracts for consultant projects
Assesses consultant staffing and manages projects with third party service experts
Manages information gathering and monitoring processes
Manages ongoing and special reporting to ensure reports are complete in a timely manner for Key Performance Indicators and CMO compliance
Oversees and makes presentations for Regulatory Oversight Committee, Regulatory Management Review, Fast Forward and other key stakeholders
4 year undergraduate degree in scientific or engineering realated Associate degree
Minimum 7 years of experience working with regulations or compliance processes
Strong experience working with battery power sources and electronics
Experience managing projects and working with consultants/contract personnel
Experience with supplier management
Fluent in reading and speaking Mandarin Chinese and English to support functions assigned to the role
Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet requirements
Strong adherence to process and protocol
Attention to detail and resolution
Ability to work proficiently in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact and collaborate
Team-oriented demonstrating collaboration skills with business partners
Effective, accurate oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated technical leadership skills
Ability to work with minimal oversight and drive execution with a sense of urgency
Understanding of Regulatory Compliance Framework
Willingness and ability to achieve and maintain regulatory knowledge through job experience and with ongoing courses and seminars
Extensive business travel will be required, possibly resulting in an international assignment
