Job Summary:

Lead a portion of the flagship Xfinity xFi client applications [iOS, Android, X1, and Web] and heavily influence the Comcast Digital Home (IoT) offerings. Join our already fantastic team and foster its growth to the next level as the product raises in visibility within Comcast's suite of syndicated products. Oversee products with millions of active users across multiple countries, and be a part of those offerings expanding even further. Use NPS and other analytical tools to maintain an intense focus on the customer experience as we help consumers navigate the ever increasing complexity of the Digital Home. Through relationship building, mentoring, and deep technical expertise bring amazing and innovative products to our customers.

Highly Desirable Skills/Experience

- Deep first-hand knowledge of at least one client platform (iOS(Objective-C/Swift), Android(Java/Kotlin), Web(React.js))-

- Experience supporting and driving a culture of experimentation (A/B Testing, Data driven decision making)

- Mastery of Dev-Ops/CI/CD concepts and how they apply to building client applications.

- Previous experience managing contractor vendors

- Experience developing and managing managers of engineers

- Experience leading a team of 25 or more software engineers

- Attracts and retains diverse high performing software engineering leaders and individual contributors.

- Develops a strong fast moving highly functional relationship with Product Owners and UX folks as part of owning and leading the client teams SDLC.

- Builds highly functional paths of communication with peers and other leaders throughout the organization.

- Architects solutions to satisfy business and product needs in near and long term timelines.

- Provides complexity and cost estimation. Develops case studies, roadmaps and models to influence strategic spending.

- Influences design and development strategies across platforms, teams and third parties.

- Researches and leads others to research new technology areas. Works with industry partners to develop new standards.

- Works with staff to develop prototype solutions and/or model solutions to prove out technology directions. Manages a team that works with technology licenses creating requirements documents for licensable technology and provides the test procedures/environment to validate the device is meeting the requirements

- Contributes to software, systems architecture design reviews etc.

- Advises customers and stakeholders in technology related issues in many areas.

- Leads review of architecture descriptions and requirements.

- Contributes to the continuous improvement of team processes and standards.

- Represents team in project and governance settings.

- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.

Job Specification

- Masters Degree or Equivalent

- Engineering, Computer Science

- Generally requires 12+ years related experience
