Manage the day-to-day contact with the clients, perform pension benefit calculations.  Serve as staff resource for legal and training.


Do you enjoy working with corporate and individual clients while also leveraging you strong analytical and solid math skills?  Then this could be the role for you.


You will Independently provide  administrative support of  Defined Benefit (pension retirement) plans.

You'll interact with plan participants as well as their company representatives. 

This would include helping individuals by running calculations to determine their retirement benefit payments.  At the company plan level, you will also prepare public and private company valuation reports, governmental filings, asset/liability and plan design studies.


You may conduct research on complex  regulatory issues (ERISA code); determine applicability to the situation; you will also design and recommend appropriate resolutions to administrative and plan design issues; implement procedures and/or communicate with affected parties. 


You'll provide one-on-one training to entry level analysts.  You may be involved with assisting in the delivery of training for analysts and other Home Office and field employees. 


While we prefer the following qualifications, if you believe you have transferable experience and skills, then we'd be happy to consider you. 


Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, or related field.desired. 


Experience: Minimum 3 years defined benefits (retirement plan) experience preferred.


Professional certification or interested in obtaining one of the following helpful:

Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA)  or Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) designation in the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries:  two Society of Actuaries exams, or equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
