Agilent Singapore is looking for an experienced HR professional to undertake responsibility in all aspects of HR operations working with our business teams to build a cohesive and high-performance workforce. Reporting to the Country HR Director, your responsibilities cover three key areas: Country Compliance and Operations; Support to the Country Management Team and General HR support. Partnering with Business HR and Global HR COEs, your specific responsibilities include:-

  • Ensure Agilent HR policies, practices and employment contracts and programs comply with local laws
  • Provide local interpretations of policies and guidelines, and manage local legal obligations with the required representative bodies
  • Consult/execute corporate/business actions liaising with corporate as required
  • Execute required due diligence and integration activities related to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures
  • Manage employee grievances and provide management support on compliance matters
  • Ensure compliance with Data Privacy, Diversity/EECOC requirements
  • Provide direct consultative and strategic advice on people and organizational issues to country leaders to maximize the performance of the country team
  • Coordinate and enable initiatives that are aligned with the business and country strategies, covering hiring, onboarding, retention, performance management as well as learning & career development
  • Drive employee engagement programs to brand Agilent as an Employer of Choice/Great Place to Work
  • Drive efforts toward the desired culture of the company and facilitate local management's ability to lead through change
  • Deliver required country specific communications
  • Work with/support Business HR to identify, develop and nurture succession candidates
  • Champion organizational enthusiasm, engagement and inclusion
  • Deliver core Agilent HR New Employee Orientation, Onboarding and training, in coordination with Global Talent
  • Manage local staffing activities in coordination with Global Talent including Campus hiring and University Programs
  • Support Annual Rewards Planning and adhoc Compensation & Benefits support as required working with Global Total Rewards
