Job Summary:

Will have the primary responsibility for leading projects related to analysis, monitoring, and reporting of mission-critical applications and associated interfaces. Will work with end users, business and technical teams in the initial analysis and provide recommendations to drive the resolution of issues and to improve user satisfaction, policy compliance, and business efficiency.

This role will require a technical understanding of data setup in different systems and technologies, data flows, transformation logic, and troubleshooting of various system/customer issues. The Analyst will gather, analyze, interpret and report on data collected from multiple sources and will be responsible for developing polished, high-impact, persuasive reports, presentations or dashboards that enable strategic decision making. The types of analysis will include identifying trends, root cause analysis and detecting anomalous data patterns. The Analyst will need to be comfortable utilizing a variety of technologies when sourcing and analyzing data.

Major Duties:
- Evaluates policy documentation and create business requirements for monitoring compliance.
- Become an SME (Subject Matter Expert) in key areas of acquired knowledge and advise technical and business partners when required.
- Trend policy compliance and identify policies that deviate from normal or accepted tolerances.
- Work with end users to get their feedback, understand their needs, and recommendations to improve their product experience.
- Analyze and monitor production server logs for anomalies.
- Prepare charts, reports, white papers, and presentations for senior leadership.
- Communicate effectively with users, management and external teams.
- May join bridges during outages or deployments.
- Develop and improve documentation to enhance and support problem analysis and resolution.
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize based upon the situation.
- Must have regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
- Ensure adequate cross-training to provide high quality coverage at all times.
- Help maximize team productivity by taking personal responsibility for customer satisfaction and leading the team to do the same.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- More than 5 years of related experience.
- Ability to write and analyze SQL
- Ability to analyze unstructured data i.e. application logs.
- Ability to generate reports from the data located in disparate systems.
- Should have excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Should have excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Must be a team player.

Familiarity with the following is a plus:
- Linux/Solaris/Unix OS
- No-SQL, Hadoop, Splunk, Kibana etc
- Kafka, Spark, SSIS etc
- Agile methodology
- Python, R or other scripting languages
- ETL processes and technology
