Business Unit:

Summary

Responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of all Compensation programs. Engages with the leadership team regarding the implementation and ongoing administration of compensation plans. Ensures compliance with all governmental record-keeping and reporting requirements for compensation programs. Provides leadership and direction for team which may include multiple functional areas. Develops and implements strategy for functional area(s). May have responsibility for developing and managing budget.

Core Responsibilities

- Ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's strategic objectives and comply with regulations are market competitive and cost conscious.

- Through alignment to business objectives and goals, develop and implement compensation programs and plans including base pay, reward and recognition plans, short term incentive and sales compensation plans, and pay progression programs in a complex environment.

- Oversees the annual salary and bonus review process.

- Provides leadership in the evaluation and maintenance of employee compensation programs.

- Provides direction, coaching, and development opportunities for all direct reports.

- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Requirements

- Prior compensation and benefit experience preferred.

- Advanced Excel and modeling skills.

- Mathematical aptitude, analysis skills and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Strong project management skills

- Advanced knowledge of federal, state and local government regulations pertaining to employee compensation and benefits.

Education Level

- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

Field of Study

- Human Resources or related field

Certifications

Years of Experience

- Generally requires 10+ years related experience specializing in compensation, total rewards and benefits.
