Job Summary:
Responsible for leading a team of Software Development Engineers in the planning and designing of software and web applications. Manages projects from design to testing, including new programs, enhancements, and modifications. Collaborates with Quality Assurance team to conduct testing. Has overall responsibility for developing/administering performance standards for organizational unit. Manages team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees. Provides subject matter guidance to employees as required. Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies and assists in the development and meeting of departmental budget.

Core Responsibilities:
This individual will manage and Lead a DevOps team using Agile Development practices as part of the Workforce Management Domain.&

&

Major Duties:&
- Lead an agile DevOps team to deliver business solutions within the WFM domain
- Interacts with Architects and Business Owners to provide timelines and estimates for delivery of new software&
- Monitors team performance and ensures team’s commitments are being met &
- Provides consistent status on issues and blockers and helps team to resolve them.
- Mentors and guide’s team members and helps them in their professional growth
- Aligns people, budget, and resources to achieve overall organizational goals
- Provides final escalation on-call production support for developed applications&
- Complies with all established procedures and policies of Comcast
- Other functions that may be assigned

Minimum Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Technology Management (MS preferred), or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years’ experience managing a DevOps Technology team
- At least 5 years’ experience operating in an Agile software development environment
- At least 3 years’ experience with database programming using NoSQL databases (Mongo, Cassandra, other)
- At least 3 years’ experience developing Micro Service applications using REST/JSON
- Familiarity with BI reporting frameworks (OBIEE, Tableau, Cognos, etc..)
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and AI concepts&

Strong working knowledge of the following technologies / products / methodologies:
- Domain modeling using functional and object-oriented methodologies
- Micro Services, Reactive Platform
- Agile Development (Rally)
- Languages: Scala, Java, Python, Javascript, SQL, Java&
- Databases: Cassandra, MongoDB, Oracle
- Frameworks: Spark, Flink, Akka, Play, kafka, Spring
