DUTIES: Contribute to the Metadata and Data Governance team, responsible for supporting and operating highly available platforms used by Comcast's syndication partners for data streaming and storage; utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools including EC2, Security, S3, Lambda, and Firehouse, as well as Kafka, Hadoop, and Agile methodologies to develop the platform's data governance repository, schema registry, infrastructure, and database; develop automated maintenance tools used to address upgrades and security patching within the platform; validate products' quality by analyzing and testing the quality of the codebase; assist in developing the architecture of the test codebase; write code to be executed in an automated, repeatable fashion to reduce manual testing and increase code quality; develop and maintain code to validate frontend, middleware, and database systems; execute automated code and test scripts; develop execution reports for the team; analyze and repair faulty automation scripts, test cases, and simple bugs within the production code; perform peer reviews of automation codebase; maintain automation codebase in a version control system using GIT and SVN; and collaborate with software engineers to create automated testing documentation.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, and one (1) year of experience developing and supporting highly available software using Amazon Web Services (AWS) tools including EC2, Security, S3, Lambda, and Firehose, as well as Kafka, Hadoop, and Agile methodologies.
