You will be working with an upbeat, energetic team of Inside Sales Representatives and field-based Product Specialists. Your role will be to grow sales of Agilent's chemistries and supplies products in your assigned territory through both inbound and outbound sales interactions with scientists and purchasers. You will engage in rich dialog with Agilent's customers and potential customers to understand the challenges they face in their lab and their business and then position the Agilent differentiation strategy to explain the solutions we can provide for their challenges. You will utilize your sales experience to develope and execute a territory management plan. You will represent the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities. You will focus on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers. You will be responsible for closing the sale on opportunities in your funnel or may generate leads for Field sales staff. You may carry team and /or individual quota.

*Interprets customer needs and proactively acts to understand those needs and identifies solutions to non-standard tasks/queries; actively creates business opportunities, referring more complex leads to others to convert

*Determines and develops approaches to inside sales assignments to achieve quota/ strategies

*Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions, organizations

*Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity

Responsible for selling company products/systems and services to end-user customers in assigned territory, industry, or accounts, primarily through outbound and inbound telephone sales activities. Acts as part of a sales team, and supports Field Sales staff. May act as sole sales representative for assigned territory, industry, accounts, or products. Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities. Focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers. Responsible for closing the sale on systems and products or may generate leads for Field sales staff. Carries team or individual quota.



*Handle complex leads, qualified and nurture the leads to potential business opportunities



*Works on inside sales assignments with broadly defined objectives



*Solves non-routine issues, challenges and problems within field of specialization
