Job Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President – Human Resources, this position leads the following teams and functions:& divisional compensation, HR operations (including business process excellence and analytics), employee engagement, environmental health and safety, and HR business partners for finance, human resources, and external affairs.& This position is responsible for creating and executing compensation, employee engagement, safety, and people strategies that align with and drive business success.

Primary Responsibilities:

&

Compensation Management
- Manage a team of compensation professionals supporting ongoing compensation and rewards activities across more than 20,000 employees.
- Design compensation programs and strategies to support the organizations strategic objectives, comply with legal requirements, are market competitive and cost conscious.
- Manages compensation programs and provides service across the organization, while building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Research changes in law and market conditions, while identifying trends and issues that impact compensation on a proactive basis to provide leadership advice on compensation approaches.

HR operations
- Guides and coordinates daily HR operations for the division, while leading human resources for client groups including finance, human resources, and external affairs.
- Leads division HR analytics and business process excellence function, as well as project management for HR projects.
- Leads and supports organizational change initiatives.
- Ensures talent management and acquisition, employee engagement, employee development, environmental health and safety, employee communications, and other human resources plans are in place, executed, with desired organizational results for client groups.
- Manages HR division budget in partnership with HR senior leadership team and finance support team.
- Serves as a member of the HR senior leadership team.

Employee Engagement
- Leads division employee engagement team and creates cohesive strategy and execution plans across solid and dotted reporting functions across the division.
- Responsible for employee engagement programs including new employee onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement survey processes.
- Manages escalated employee relations matters, labor and employment law compliance, and other tactical employee programs across the division.
- Serves as a resource between regions, division, and headquarters to coordinate programs and activity, while consulting on proposed business changes, process, and impact on the workforce.

Environmental Health and Safety
- Leads environmental health and safety team and creates strategy and execution plans across solid and dotted line reporting functions across the division.
- Responsible for environmental health and safety programs, including all proactive and reactive activities that drive employee safety and appropriate response to environmental health and safety events.
- Manages compliance with OSHA and other applicable agencies and regulations.
- Serves as a resource between regions, division, and headquarters to coordinate programs and activity, while consulting on proposed business changes, process, and impact on the workforce.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and Advanced Degree in Human Resources or related field, or job experience equivalent.
- SPHR/PHR preferred.
- CCP/CBP/CEBS certifications preferred.
- Minimum 15+ year’s relevant work experience specializing in compensation (base pay, sales compensation and variable pay), total rewards, and benefits. Public Company experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge and application of total compensation.
- Ability to function as an internal coach to management, peers and others by helping them identify and resolve issues, encouraging excellent management practices, anticipating internal organization issues, proposing solutions, and understanding/representing the employee perspective.
- Strong leadership skills with an ability to lead by example in terms of creating an exciting environment for employees and the company to ensure collective success.
- Ability to serve as a strategic business partner and advisor to senior executives with a solid track record of achievement in the human resources management function.
- Demonstrated ability in leveraging key performance indicators to drive organizational success.
- Demonstrated Strategic Planning acumen.
- Demonstrated history of successfully managing human resource activities across multiple facilities and across a wide geography.
- Demonstrated capabilities in developing and leveraging HR metrics to guide HR effectiveness.
