DIRECTOR, WW I-O Commercial Model Strategy


The person in this role will be responsible for working directly with BMS’ primary markets to support the evolution of our commercial model given our expanding portfolio of indications.     The position reports to the Worldwide Immuno-Oncology Commercial Strategy Lead

Specific responsibilities include\:
  • Work with key primary market stakeholders to\:
    • Determine market-specific external stakeholders to engage as part of upcoming WW launches as they extend beyond core tumors
    • With target stakeholders identified, determine interaction objectives and preferred engagement options considering channel capabilities, capacity, and financial return
    • For preferred engagement options, understand opportunities to enhance BMS capabilities as needed
  • Identify opportunities to differentiate BMS’ immune-oncology franchise through unique offerings and/or customer engagement methods
  • On an on-going basis\:
    • Create and manage on-going forums for continued refinement of customer models over time and sharing of best practices
    • Monitor on-going performance of commercial model implementation using relevant metrics
  • Partner seamlessly with global and regional marketing, medical, finance, forecasting, business analytics, and market research in the above


  • BA/BS with MBA preferred
  • Minimum 6-8 years of brand marketing or commercial strategy in pharmaceutical / biotech industry
  • Understanding of commercial analytics from a broad range of lenses 
  • Proven ability to develop executive-ready presentations coupled with strong verbal communication skills
  • Oncology experience is mandatory
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated maturity and ability to think on feet.  Solid organizational skills and ability to work independently with limited direction are key
