Conceptualize, design, develop and implement customized training solutions of very complex natures where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.  Utilize various training mediums, including computer based training, e-Learning and distance Learning.  Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to teammates.  Ensure training effectiveness through continued evaluation and improvements.

Responsibilities

Convert technical documents, concepts and information into adult learning content to be used via intranet for training, employee development and performance improvement tools.


Interview subject matter experts to develop appropriate content to support performance objectives by identifying opportunities and strategies for improving performance through performance gap analysis. Conduct audience analysis for best method of distribution.
 
Design and develop multimedia elements including but not limited to graphics, animations, videos to convey learning content.
 
Design and develop e-Learning curriculum, using computer and web-based distance training to support performance objectives and organizational needs.
 
Stays current in industry best practices and emerging trends.  Recommend upgrades and enhancements to team manager.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in ISD, Distance Education, Training or related field or 10 years equivalent work experience.  Master's degree in related field of Instructional Design preferred.


Experience:

-A minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience developing and presenting adult learning programs; three years experience in instructional design and web based instructional technology.

-A minimum of five years creating multimedia elements including graphics, animations and videos.

-A minimum of five years developing and implementing computer based training solutions including Web based training and distance learning.

-A minimum of five  years technical experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, JavaScript, Captivate, Articulate, Author ware, and/or equivalent authoring courseware, as well as graphic and editing tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or equivalent software.  -Experience leading cross organizational teams in a project leader/manager role beneficial, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.


Professional certification required: ISD Certification preferred.
