Job Description

Novitex Enterprise Solutions is looking to fill a Print and Mail Clerk position in Phoenix, AZ.  The shift for this position will be 7:30 AM-3:00 PM, working Monday – Friday.  The position is located in Northern Phoenix, and the starting pay for this position will be around $11.00 per hour and will vary based on experience.  Candidates who successfully complete their first 90 days of employment will also be given an additional $1.00 increase to their hourly rate.

So what will you actually be doing?

With a strong attention to detail, this role will facilitate a variety of mailroom and print tasks to ensure high levels of customer service in a fast paced environment.

A Print and Mail Clerk’s daily tasks will involve:

  • Perform various Mail Center activities (sorting, metering, folding, inserting, delivery, pickup, etc.)
  • Perform various Print Center activities
  • Lift heavy boxes, files or paper when needed
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment
  • Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines
  • Adhere to all safety procedures
  • Take direction from supervisor or site manager
  • Maintain all logs and reporting documentation; attention to detail
  • Participate in cross-training and perform other duties as assigned (Filing, outgoing shipments, etc.)
  • Operating mailing, copy or scanning equipment
  • Shipping & Receiving
  • Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages
  • Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
  • Provide backfill when needed
  • Enter information daily into spreadsheets
  • Sort and deliver mail, small packages
  • Provide backup courier services as needed

The following is required:

  • Minimum of 6 months customer service related experience
  • Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint preferred, including Office applications and web based programs)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
  • Competency in performing multiple functional tasks
  • Ability to meet employer's attendance policy
  • Ability to lift and/or move items up to 55 pounds or maximum allowed by current State Law with or without accommodations
  • Willingness and availability to work additional hours if assigned
  • Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for long periods of time with or without accommodations
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass MVR
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
