Associate Manager, BI&A – Global Manufacturing & Supply Performance Management enables flawless execution and delivery of Global Supply Chain metrics & analytics related reports, working in partnership with stakeholder teams.  Supports with designing and delivering training and communication needs for all reports. Addresses ad-hoc requests and supports the analysis and delivery of information. Helps communicate key findings of ad-hoc analysis appropriately to the relevant stakeholders. Supports ongoing changes in reports and scorecards to address changes in business landscape (system streamlining, new data sources, changes in monitoring needs etc.)

Key Responsibilities and Major Duties\:

  • Responsible and accountable for the full project cycle including initial business requirements, report design & development, user acceptance testing, creation of report documentation, user training, implementation and support.
  • Generate business insights using visualization tool (i.e. Spotfire) and analyze trends, identify root causes and provide actionable insight
  • Ensures delivery of all Supply Chain metrics & analytics reports, Dashboards and Scorecards in a flawless and timely manner
  • Responsible for defining/refining development of new metrics, analyses, dashboards and reporting strategies for Global Supply Chain Senior Management  
  • Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders  to identify areas where existing metrics, reports and procedures require enhancements, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion
  • Supports the improvement, and development of self-service reporting tools/capabilities working in collaboration with IT team
  • Analyzes standard reports to ensure that data is consistent across various deliverables
  • Documents business rules with matrix teams and ensure that reports delivered to stakeholders is consistent with business objectives
  • Analyzes output of manufacturing metrics/analytics processes against business stakeholder needs to ensure identified needs are addressed appropriately
  • Business impact analysis and implementation of SC metrics for business process changes
  • Proactively works with stakeholder teams to streamline reports and improve the quality of information provided to stakeholders
  • Collaborates with IT for data platforming, reporting, and tool development projects

 

Qualification:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education\: BS or BA degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience desired
  • Experience\:  4+ years experience with pharmaceutical supply chain metrics/data applications
  • Hands on Systems and/or data experience (SAP, BI/BW and Analytics Tool such as Spotfire, Tableau) and ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot tables), Access Databases, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse teams across organizational lines and structures with ability to work under pressure for urgent requests.
  • Understanding of  End-to-End Supply Chain manufacturing processes & subject matter expert for all manufacturing metrics & analytics
  • Direct experience with analyzing large, complex data sets and interacting with relational databases
  • Ability to draw inferences from disparate pieces of data, identify key findings, link to implications and provide recommendations
  • Ability to frame analytic findings in a digestible and business friendly format that identifies key business implications
  • Creative business problem solving skills to design processes and deliver timely results for ad-hoc requests
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to manipulate large datasets to identify root cause
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
