Director, Strategy, Operations and Market Expansion- US Cardiovascular
 

The person in this role will be responsible for leading both long term strategic brand planning and short term planning and analysis, while also driving and coordinating cross-matrix business operations, for the US Cardiovascular business unit, and supporting functions and centers of excellence. The position reports to the US ELIQUIS Marketing Lead. 
 

Specific responsibilities include\: 
•    Leading the long term financial plan, Marketing Excellence brand planning process, strategic plan, annual budget and financial projection processes for ELIQUIS and any subsequent portfolio additions
•    Development of all senior management communications, including briefs for earnings calls and key presentations to senior management
•    Leadership of strategic initiatives for the franchise, including life cycle management, interface with clinical development, and support to business unit head for business development
•    Driving strategy and execution for pilots and scale-up of market expansion for approved indication(s)
•    Leadership in enhancement of team culture and helping foster the partnership with Worldwide Commercial team
•    Partner seamlessly with marketing, medical, sales, finance, market research, all analytics and forecasting functions, and worldwide marketing points in the above areas to ensure appropriate alignment with all key brand and business unit initiatives and priorities

 

Qualification:

Qualifications\:
•    BA/BS with MBA preferred
•    Minimum 5-7 years of operational and/or global marketing experience, in pharmaceutical or healthcare related industry strongly preferred 
•    Cardiovascular experience is preferable
•    Prior experience managing and leading teams directly or through matrix influence is required
•    Position requires very strong written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to build alignment and drive performance across matrix teams through personal influence, and ability to work independently with limited direction
