We invite applications from highly motivated candidates for a Genomic Biologist position to support various discovery and translational efforts to support many therapeutic areas.

We are looking for candidates with established track record and significant experience in utilizing genomic methodologies, particularly using latest next gen sequencing techniques / workflows to characterize complex genomic underpinnings that enable drug target discovery and translational research.

Experience with NGS (Illumina) instrumentation and familiarity with associated data analysis methods are desirable. Experience with genome level data analyses (e.g. Variant calls, Methylation, Expression- RNA Seq) is highly desirable. Single cell genomic experience is a plus.

Experience with automation and laboratory instrument data management would be beneficial. The candidate is expected to exhibit resourcefulness and independence, developing new genomic assays and workflows.

The candidate must have expertise with writing/reviewing lab work practices and maintain regular scientific records in terms of laboratory notebooks.

Qualification:

Qualification

  • Ph.D in Life Sciences (i.e., Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and Cell Biology) is preferred with 3-6 years of experience. . M.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or related field with minimum 8 to 12 years of experience will also be considered.
  • The candidate should have a strong interest in drug discovery & translational research. The candidate with experience in applying genomic tools to investigate cancer and Immuno-oncology is highly desirable
  • The candidate should have experience in NGS instrument operation and strong proficiency in NGS workflows and molecular biology techniques.
