The Analyst, Monitoring Operations will conduct assigned monitoring activities globally; develop education programs for and train compliance monitors in Compliance & Ethics, Commercial Law & Compliance, and managerial roles throughout the company; and answer end users’ questions on appropriate use of, interpretation of, and best practices when using Compliance & Ethics monitoring tools.

Responsibilities include\:

  • Execute traditional monitoring as assigned, identifying opportunities to either restructure the work to make use of analytic capabilities or leverage analytics to simplify the monitoring execution
  • Review analytic dashboards used to monitor trends as assigned, promptly and effectively identifying points of concern for further follow-up
  • Provide support for Compliance & Ethics monitoring tools by verifying data validity on periodic loads, spot-checking monitoring tools globally to ensure consistent performance, and providing suggestions for improvement
  • Partner with other members of the Worldwide Compliance Committee and Monitoring COE to develop and implement specific training programs to help users when new analytics are rolled out
  • Provide prompt, expert advice to users who may have questions on the use and interpretation of all Compliance & Ethics analytic programs
  • Continuously report up to company leadership significant matters regarding the company’s compliance program
Qualification:

Skills\:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 4-5 years’ experience in an auditing or monitoring role
  • Compliance program experience or experience working in a regulated function (e.g. Audit, Finance, Law, Medical Affairs, Regulatory) is preferred
  • General understanding of Healthcare Law; working knowledge of sales, marketing, and medical processes and applicable policies and procedures/guiding principles
  • Ability to develop strong collaborative working relationships with peers; successful experience in cross-functional interactions
  • Superior personal integrity and ethics, including an exceptional sense of discretion; outstanding interpersonal skills
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience with US compliance expectations for the pharmaceutical industry, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act/UK Bribery Act
