Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing multiple Sales Engineers selling Comcast residential services including Internet, Video, Voice etc. Will direct a team of sales engineering managers responsible for individual territory results. Influences and integrates overall team strategy to meet and exceed company goals. Creates and monitors the overall departmental budget.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Takes leadership role in career development and developing career path process for individual sales engineers and the SE channel.

- Divisional lead/resource for all network augmentations (re-wiring, upgrades, etc.) including develop of processes, communication, completion, budgeting

- Works within company policy to evaluate and develop skills assessment and training curriculum for sales engineering team

- Creates overall communication plan for Xfinity Communities regarding upgrades, process changes, network impacts, etc. within the network, construction and engineering channels

- Develops an automatic reporting system for XC leadership to convey SE contributions to sales teams, regions and division

- Creates measureable process for increasing RGU's and revenue through SE efforts

- Ensures consistency of personnel within SE channel including job descriptions, titles, hiring, on boarding, SSIP process, compensation, etc.

- Develops, reviews and communicates playbook for SE channel as well as responsible for maintenance and up keep of playbook content.

- Ensure SE team is lead on all product enhancements, new product introductions and product communication plans while creating the training and strategy for the SE team

Core Responsibilities:

- Drive Comcast Class sales by developing the overall strategy of the department focused on meeting team objectives and goals.

- Monitors team processes and procedures and makes necessary modifications to improve sales effectiveness and cycle time reduction.

- Act as a subject matter expert for all Comcast Service's products and services.

- Develops key leadership relationships to ensure the collaboration between the sales engineering team, National Engineering, and Technical Operations (NETO).

- Stay abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Comcast in the marketplace.

- Monitors the overall operating budget, adjusts team strategy as needed and accurately reports out to leadership on any budget issues.

- Develops new strategies to be employed by the sales engineering team to meet company goals and objectives.

- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Job Specification:

- Education Level Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

- Field of Study-Computer Science, Engineering

- Years Experience Generally requires 9+ years related experience

Additional Requirements:

- Experience within Telecommunications, preferred; cable industry experience also considered

- Strong background in leadership, with experience leading team of direct and indirect reports

- Strong analytical ability with experience measuring and reporting on multi-channel sales strategies

- Strong executive communication skills (both written and verbal)

- Experience in product sales with experience leading product sales strategies
